As a priest I go in to hospitals to comfort people who have been in a bad accident and give some the last right. But something I encountered on the 11 of September changed my life and made me angry enough to fight.

As I made my rounds on that day in the hospital I passed a open door and saw a little girl all bandaged up lying in the bed. With a weak motion of her little hand, she waved for me to come in, I walked over to her and this is what she said.

"Mr., are you God?," "I sure hope so, because I just lost my momma a couple of hours ago," "And if you are here to take her to heaven, there are a few things I want to say." "She is the bestest mommy in the whole world, she always told me she loved me, every night at bedtime, she's the one that taught me to pray."

"We were driving into town today, listening to music as we were going down the street, then momma hit the brakes so hard I almost left my seat. Then I heard her say, "OH, MY GOD", then she tried to back the car up but there was no way to go, so then we got out of the car, and started running down the street."

"The smoke and soot was so terrible we were covered from head to toe, it got in my eyes and I couldn't see. And that's when momma picked me up and started carrying me."

"Momma ran and ran as fast as she could run, but then she started slowing down just before we reached a safe place." "Then suddenly she put me into two big strong arms, and the last thing I heard her say was, "Oh, God save my baby, as the tears rolled down her dirty face.

"I wish my momma was here right now, she would kiss all my hurt away, But I know she's not coming, they told me she went to heaven today, so I am going to talk to her tonight, when I kneel and pray."

I told her I wasn't God, but I do work for God, and I will ask him to take care of your momma for you, then I released her little hand and walked away.

And as I left the hospital, I knew I'd never be the same, because when I left there I was a changed man, I knew something evil had happened that would change a lot of lives that day.
