Today's the day I'm moving out west. Going to give my tired old soul a rest. I have all my belongings in my pickup truck. Going to do my best to change my luck.

I'm taking the advice of my doctor and lawyer. Just scooting along listening to a song, kinda makes me feel like old Tom Sawyer.

I'm leaving the dog with my wife, don't need no nasty animals messing up my life. I'm gonna put an old trailer out in the desert sand. Let my beard grow long, and live off the land.

Don't need no credit cards, or telephones, just want to live my life, and be left alone. Now this kind of living is out of sight. I'm going to sleep all day and party all night.

I'm going to lazy around, in my mirage lake. Drinking cactus juice, eating rattlesnake. If you're coming to see me, and you don't like rattlesnake meat. I suggest you bring something you do like to eat.

The open range, kinda makes me feel strange, living under the stars is a testament to Mother Earth. Plateau's so tall, they make you feel small, like a beautiful sunset in it's instant of birth.

The blue sky is beautiful and the white clouds too, they whisk you away to another time, another place, and they hypnotize you.

All my life i've had the urge to roam. But not anymore, because I think i've found home.
